Robotics is a cross-section of science, engineering, and technology that creates devices, called robots, that replace (or replicate) human behavior.
The mission to be performed by the robot is difficult, accurate, or sensitive work, such as the search for mines and the disposal of nuclear waste, or delicate or arduous industrial work. In the play by the Czech playwright Karl Chapik, the word "robot" appeared for the first time in 1920.
Even if a human operator or a human-written computer program monitor certain robots remotely, robots are also able to operate quicker, more effectively, and cheaper than people can without human interference. Artificial intelligence is the branch of science that uses computer algorithms to simulate human intelligent behavior through low intervention machines (AI).
Robots.txt is a text file created by webmasters to instruct Web robots (usually search engine robots) to crawl website sites. The robots.txt file is part of the Robots Exclusion Protocol (REP), a set of web standards that Govern how robots search the content of the web, navigate and index, and serve it to users.
The REP often provides guidelines such as meta robots, as well as page-, subdirectory-, or Site-wide instructions on how links (such as "follow" or "no follow") should be treated by search engines.
In practice, robots.txt files show whether or not some user agents (web-crawling software) may or cannot monitor parts of a website.
These instructions are provided by "disallowing" or "allowing" the actions of some (or all) user agents.
Generally, there are five types of robots.
Pre-Programmed Robots, Humanoid Robots, Autonomous Robots, Teleoperated Robots, Augmenting Robots.
Artificial intelligence and robotics are the guiding force for the future.
You can certainly see some stunning technical revelations focused on AI in the next decade.AI is all about data, and when properly applied, it will use the data to our advantage, automate most of the processes and make our lives simpler.
A robot is a machine, and we program it and it has many benefits, but will the development and spread of robots help us or harm us?
